Protective Underwear or Briefs. What’s the difference?
Protective Underwear and Briefs are two types of adult incontinence products. While they perform the same function of keeping us dry and comfortable there are differences between them to determine if they are best for you or your loved one.
Protective Underwear is a great option for folks who are mobile. They are worn in place of washable underwear and can be pulled up and down the same way. Most also have tearable sides to make removal easier if needed.
Briefs are the wrap-around style that are held on with tabs. They are an excellent option for anyone with limited mobility, especially folks who are bed-bound. They provide the most coverage of any of the incontinence products.
