- Pads and Liners
Pads are used for light to moderate incontinence. They are easy to change, not as bulky, and more discreet than protective underwear or briefs. All pads feature an adhesive strip to keep the pad in place in washable underwear. They contain a transfer layer on the top of the pad where liquid can flow through and keep the user drier. To gain absorbency use a longer, thicker pad.
- Protective Underwear
Protective underwear are for moderate to heavy incontinence and also contains a transfer layer to pull liquid away from the skin. They are easy to pull up and down and provide more coverage than a pad. These underwear also feature side seams, which can be ripped for quicker, easier removal. These seams are made on the outside to prevent pressure points on the skin.

- Briefs
Briefs are used for heavy to complete incontinence as well as fecal incontinence and contain a transfer layer. These are helpful for bedridden users and are built so that you do not have to completely remove clothing when changing them.
- Booster Pads
Booster pads are special pads made to go in other protective items to add extra absorbency. They are especially useful for extra nighttime protection. Also, as a caregiver, you can change out the booster pad and lengthen the use time of protective underwear or briefs. They do not have a waterproof backing and, therefore should used only with another absorbent product, such as a disposable underwear or briefs.
Underpads
Underpads offer extra protection on chairs, wheelchairs, beds, and even floors. Heavy-duty underpads can be used by caregivers to help reposition or turn users. HDIS offers both disposable and reusable underpads.
